Hi! I’m Samaneh
Vajdi

UI/UX Designer & Web Developer based in Vancouver

I design and build digital experiences that are clear, intuitive, and memorable — bridging strategy, UX, and front-end execution into products people genuinely enjoy using.

My Journey in Design & User Experience

I started in web development, where I learned how products are built and where they often break down for users. That foundation pushed me toward UX, not just to make interfaces look better, but to make them work better.

Today, I work across research, interaction design, visual systems, and front-end execution. I bring a practical, end-to-end perspective to product work: understanding user needs, shaping clear flows, refining interfaces, and helping teams turn ideas into usable, polished experiences. My focus is simple — reduce friction, improve clarity, and design products that feel thoughtful from the first interaction.

How I work

I design with structure and intent. Strong hierarchy, clear states, accessible patterns, and purposeful motion help people understand what matters quickly and move through a product with confidence.

My visual approach

I use visual design to communicate, not decorate. Layout, contrast, color, and iconography should make content easier to scan, decisions easier to make, and the overall experience feel calm, modern, and coherent.

Research and iteration

I rely on feedback early and often. Research, usability checks, and iteration help surface friction before it becomes costly, leading to clearer flows, better copy, smarter defaults, and stronger product decisions.

What I bring to a team

My background in development makes collaboration sharper and more practical. I can think through feasibility, anticipate edge cases, communicate clearly with engineers, and help move work from concept to implementation without losing the original design intent.

Looking for design that doesn’t just look beautiful, but works beautifully? Let’s create something that makes your audience feel seen, understood, and inspired.

Together, we can turn your vision into an experience people will remember.
