About the Designer
I trained in UI/UX at BrainStation and come from a front-end development background. Building real interfaces taught me where people hesitate, get confused, or drop off, which is what pushed me to focus more deeply on the reasoning behind the experience, not just the visuals.
Today, I start with research, interviews, and journey mapping, then translate those insights into flows and interfaces that feel clear, natural, and easy to use. I design for people navigating complexity, disability, or digital overload, with accessibility and plain language treated as essentials, not extras.
5+ Years of experience in web development
I’m a web developer with a strong UI/UX practice. For over five years, I’ve worked on digital products that help people navigate complex services more easily, including healthcare experiences related to appointments, insurance, and provider communication.
My foundation comes from a Web Development diploma at VanArts, where I learned full-stack
fundamentals and how to build fast, accessible front ends. I care about clean, maintainable code, thoughtful
interaction, and clear language that helps interfaces make sense the first time.
Training at BrainStation further sharpened my research and interaction design skills, so the
work I ship is not only functional, but grounded in real user needs.
