Two sides of one practice

Front-end craft, with a designer’s eye
I started in front-end development with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and have since built full-stack projects in PHP, Laravel and MySQL, and React interfaces at Porton Health, where my work with Engineering contributed to a 25% reduction in load time. Because I design these products as well as build them, I build them the way they were meant to work.

How I work

I keep the stack as simple as the problem allows: server-rendered PHP and MySQL for content sites like Yoshi and Innovative Bridge, Laravel for a full store like YouTab. Content stays editable without a redeploy.

Structure and reuse

Semantic HTML, a responsive grid and components built once and reused, such as the Blade product cards and pickers in YouTab. Normalised data models, policy-guarded admin areas, and AJAX forms that give instant feedback.

Testing and refinement

I test each flow end to end, check responsive behaviour and cross-browser rendering, then tighten spacing, copy and calls to action before calling it done.

What I bring to a team

I bridge design and engineering: I translate design decisions into code, raise edge cases early, and work easily with Product and UX because I have designed healthcare products myself.
