A corporate site for a bridge and gondola engineering company

Innovative Bridge builds and designs long-span bridges and gondola installations. The site presents the company, its offices, current projects and news, with content stored in a database and rendered server-side.

Services and company content rendered server-side from a PHP back end.

Interface

A home page that leads with the work

Hero. A full-width photograph of the company's own subject matter opens the page. The navigation stays light, and the one filled button, “Call Us Now”, is the primary action.

Three alternating content rows: Vancouver headquarters with an Our Offices button, the Gordie Howe International Bridge project with an embedded video and a More Details button, and a Pattullo Bridge news item with a More News button — **Content rows.** Offices, a featured project with an embedded video, and a news item share one pattern: image and text swap sides, and each row ends in a single green action button.

Technical Approach

Server-rendered, database-backed

Content for the services company lives in a database and is rendered server-side with PHP, so pages stay current without hand-editing markup. Bootstrap handles the front end on top of that.

Keeping the content out of the templates means a new office, project or news item is a data change, not a page rewrite.
